If you've updated to the latest version of the Hotstar app on iPhone / iPad you may have noticed that it now detects if you are using a VPN to bypass the geoblocking.
Don't worry, by following the steps in this guide, you can bypass this.
The error displayed is shown below
VPN Detected you seem to be using an unblocked or proxy Please turn off the services and try again, If you continue to see this after turning off proxy, please reach as at hello@hotstar.com
How to fix this :
The only way to prevent the app from detecting the VPN running is to use our Invizbox solution. Once the Invizbox is connected to the India VPN, connect your phone or tablet to the Invizbox wifi, and hotstar will be unblocked
